Omegasonics’ Matrix 9000 Mark II ultrasonic generator has been redesigned with a single power board, eliminating the variant frequencies associated with two power boards. The third-generation device also offers greater stability and improved safety features, the company says.
Although the same size as its predecessor, this generator is lighter and generates less heat because it runs at a cooler operating temperature, increasing its reliability. However, it still makes use of a universal input power supply of 100 to 240 volts while delivering constant wattage and near unity power factor, the company says. An enhanced heat sync contributes to temperature reduction, extending electronics life. An optional digital display that shows output power from the generator.
