Do not put leather in the ultrasonic, not only does it not dry easily, but will also shrink.
You can clean stuffed animals in the ultrasonics, but there are better methods such as the Esporta Wash Systems
Do not put wood or ivory in the ultrasonic, wood and ivory can warp, crack or be otherwise damaged by temperatures, chemical, water and cavitation, Items like these aren’t even supposed to go in a dishwasher. Can do a 30-60 second cleaning cycle for light residue otherwise Hand clean only
Instruments such as brass can be cleaned in the ultrasonics. Never put a wood instrument in the ultrasonics it can warp and crack it.
Compact disk can be cleaned in the ultrasonics, max temperature 150 degrees, remove any paper inserts.
Do not put complex electronics in the ultrasonic (electronics with a screen or enclosed power source)
Never put anything with a speaker in the ultrasonics. The ultrasonics and water will damage the cone and coil.
Ultrasonics is great for cleaning many metals except for tungsten and thin aluminum. Most aluminum products are thicker but ultrasonics can damage thinner items.
Rubber items do not clean well in ultrasonics, you can clean light residue and dust with a 60 second cleaning any longer can damage the item.
