Why Should I Be Using an Ultrasonic Cleaner?

Ultrasonic cleaning is not something that is just now bursting onto the scene. These cleaners have been around for decades. However, we are starting to see them used in more businesses as well as for personal use. This is why “ultrasonic” is suddenly becoming a buzzword.

For those of you that are not familiar with these cleaners, we believe they offer the most effective method of cleaning available. The items not only come out clean, but the time it takes to clean is significantly reduced. For business owners, there is nothing better than consistency and quality, both of which you will have when cleaning with an ultrasonic cleaner.

How Does It Work?

Ultrasonic cleaners use ultrasonic waves to create cavitation in the tank. Based on the setting, that cavitation will create larger or smaller microscopic bubbles that carry the cleaning solution to the item in the tank. When these bubbles come into contact with a surface, they implode, spreading the cleaning solution as well as dislodging the grime, debris, or dirt that is on the piece in the tank. It sounds like a violent process, but we assure you, it is not. In fact, people that have more delicate pieces use ultrasonic cleaners to ensure these pieces are not being broken while hand-cleaned.

Reasons to Use an Ultrasonic Cleaner

Just as we mentioned above, this is often the safest way to clean some of your most delicate objects. We have hobbyists that use cleaners for delicate miniatures that are not only easy to break but that can also be very expensive.

Ultrasonic cleaners are also very good for the environment. The cleaners are all water-based, meaning now harmful chemicals that have to be disposed of after the cycle. If you using this for a business, that can be a huge factor in changing over. You no longer have to pay a disposal company to fetch your discharge and you no longer have to worry about extensive training for staff because of the dangerous nature of some of the most popular cleaning chemicals in industry.
