If you notice in our articles, we are very careful in the wording that we use when we talk about our cleaning solutions. We usually use the term cleaning solution, cleaning agent, or detergent. That is because the word “solvent” is generally associated with a chemical cleaning solution, many of which are very harmful to the environment.
At Omegasonics, it was important for us to come up with the best possible formulas to make our machines the most effective ultrasonic cleaners on the market, but we also wanted to ensure many of the issues that come along with cleaning solvents were not part of the cleaning process. Among those would be educating employees on the proper handling of dangerous chemicals, disposal, and possible dangers of these chemicals.
A Different Type of Cleaning
If I had a dollar every time someone asked me where the cleaning jets are on our machines, I might not be able to see over the stack of cash. Our cleaning method is unlike anything else you see in terms of industrial cleaning. Instead of using jet sprayers, our machines use cavitation. That cavitation creates tiny bubbles that travel to the equipment in the tank and implode, sending that cleaning solution to every area of the equipment in the tank.
This is far more effective than even the most powerful power washers you will find.
Safety Benefits
You obviously want your staff to be safe when they are working, but with many different types of cleaning solvents, education and safety equipment are needed to ensure the employees safety when using these products. Some cleaning solvents have harmful fumes or can burn or irritate skin. That will not be the case when you are using our water-based detergents for cleaning.
When you factor in these benefits with cost-savings, it just makes sense to invest in an ultrasonic cleaner for your small business or home.
