Joe Gilbert – National Sales Manager
Joe Gilbert grew up working in the film industry in the 1980s. His father owned a respected sound company and when Joe was a young man they worked together on iconic films like Stand by Me, Steel Magnolias, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Once Joe was ready to strike out on his own, he applied all he’d learned as he opened his own sporting goods stores in Ventura and in Simi Valley. He has always loved exchanging stories with people in order to get to know them better.
It’s this personable quality that made Joe excellent at customer service and building and maintaining strong business relationships. It was through these organic relationships that he was first introduced to Omegasonics. In 2003, a regular customer gave Joe a taste of industrial sales when he invited him to join the Omegasonics staff at an industry expo. It was at this show that Joe sold his first ultrasonic unit, and within a few weeks he officially joined the team.
Proving to be an integral part of the Omegasonics family, Joe became the Sales Manager in 2005. His business philosophy is simple: We’re going to solve your problem together; from A to Z. Joe will stick with you until our product has exceeded your expectations. He is excited to see where we take ultrasonic technology next and he looks forward to hearing your story.
